These pictures are from a tour around Scotland in early April 2008. We left Edinburgh and traveled north through Perth to Culloden/Inverness, where we saw Culloden battlefield and a 4000-5000 year old burial ground with lots of stone tombs and monuments. Heading south-west we saw Loch Ness, the Ben Nevis whiskey distillery, Ben Nevis and Glen Coe. After that we drove west beck to Edinburgh, stopping in at the Wallace Monument before getting home. All in all the weather held out - snow in the mountains and a few short showers along the way, but it was clear for most of the day.

The pictures below are courtesy of Andrew Gillis, but the ones I took can be found on my FaceBook site here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2175373&l=6def8&id=21002902
